Orangewood Children and Family Center (OCFC) is a 24-hour emergency shelter operated by the County of Orange Social Services Agency. It provides temporary care for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Licensed by the California Department of Social Services (Facility #306090006), OCFC serves as a safe and supportive space for children during times of crisis.

Volunteer and Donate

Volunteers are an essential part of OCFC and the lives of the children we serve. With the generous support of community partners, we provide collaborative care and enriching experiences for the children placed at OCFC.

Volunteers assist the recreation department with activities such as sports nights, game nights, art, music, fitness, and nutritional cooking. Community partners also sponsor field trips to sporting events, cultural performances, and other special experiences, and provide monetary and in‑kind donations that support enrichment activities and child‑specific requests.
