CalWORKs provides temporary financial assistance and employment related services to families with minor children.

CalFresh (formerly known as Food Stamps)

The CalFresh Program was established to improve the nutrition of people in low-income households by increasing their food-buying power so they can purchase nutritious food, such as fruits, vegetables, and other healthy foods, for the members of their household.

General Relief

General Relief (GR) is a County-funded program that provides temporary cash aid to eligible indigent adult lawful residents who are ineligible for Federal or State programs.

Immigrant Assistance

The Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI) provides cash to certain aged, blind, and/or disabled, legal, non-citizens who are not eligible to receive supplemental Security Income/State Supplemental Payments (SSI/SSP) due to their immigration status.

Refugee Cash Assistance

Refugee Cash Assistance is cash aide provided to individuals with refugee, asylee, or trafficking-victim status who have been determined to be ineligible for CalWORKs or SSI/SSP.
