CalWORKs Homeless Assistance is available to families with children who are currently (or apparently) eligible to the CalWORKs program and are homeless, or at risk of homelessness.
The CalWORKs Homeless Assistance Program:
·Is limited to once every 12 months, with exceptions.
·Provides payments for up to 16 days of temporary shelter (e.g., a motel/hotel).
·May assist families with paying for the cost of securing a new permanent residence or preventing eviction.
